Egyptian Culture

“I shall however make my report of Egypt at length, because it has wonders more in number than any other land, and works too it has to show as much as any land, which are great beyond expression.”

— Herodotus, The Histories

Egypt, one of the oldest and most captivating cultures of the world, has always held my interest. However, I could never bring myself to study too much about it lest I find myself neglecting other historical periods. Regardless, I do believe that understanding the place of Egypt in world history is important. Thus, I will be reading more on Egypt throughout my life.
